Alyssa & Tom | Naylor Farms | Michigan Wedding

Updated: Sep 2, 2020

This Michigan wedding was one for the romance books. It wasn't easy to get to this day though, with COVID-19 causing some drastic changes in plans there was concern the day may not come on time, but with social distancing, masks, a change of reception venue and some awesome friends that came out to celebrate this day was made possible.

Hotel: Holiday Inn - Dexter

Reception Venue: Naylor Farms, Manchester Michigan

Photography: Paige Nicole Studios

Coordination: The Best Day Details

The Girls got ready at the Holiday Inn on Zeeb Road, where Alissa got straight to work making sure everyones hair was picture perfect for the special day.

I ran over to the grooms home where all of the groomsmen were getting ready to capture a few moments of them while the girls finished their hair and make up.

Once I was done with the guys, I headed back to the hotel for final touches of the girls. She had the most helpful flower girl ever!!! Look how cute she is carrying the dress around, she knew her job for the day.

Off to the church we go!

And now for the big moment the kiss they've been waiting for all day!

So that was the moment they were waiting for but my absolute favorite is what came next...

This attaboy moment from Dad is the stuff I live for as a photographer, they're all so happy to have Alyssa in the family.

I love being able to take the bride and groom out for their portrait sessions after their ceremony is complete unfortunately the weather had different plans it was gloomy so we ran out between the rain drops to capture a few.

Off to the barn we go!! Now on the 30 ish minute drive over to the barn we had HEAVY HEAVY rain, which threw a kink in some of our photo plans but don't worry we made it work.

But first cake!

Alright so I saw the perfect opportunity of it drizzling outside and grabbed an umbrella and said I promise it'll be worth it, and oh it was.

And then I made them go stand in the corn field, thankfully Alyssa had switched to her cowgirl boots.
